MixLess free plugins: End User Licence Agreement

Version 1.0, August 2026. We update this page when practice changes; the current version is always the one published here.

Applies to the plugins MixLess distributes free of charge: Less Gain Stage, Less Meter, Less Comp, Less Limiter and Less Tube.

By downloading, installing or using the software you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the software.

1. What you get

We grant you a non exclusive, non transferable right to use the version you received, on as many computers as you own, for personal or commercial work, for as long as you like. There is no charge and there never will be for this version.

We say "the version you received" for a plain reason: there is no practical way to take back a copy you already have, so we do not pretend otherwise. It also means no future version is covered by this grant. See clause 3.

2. What you may not do

3. Updates and availability

We may release updates and fixes at our discretion. When we do, they are distributed through our site and are covered by this agreement. Whether a particular version keeps working after changes to macOS, Windows, your DAW or a plugin format depends on those platforms as much as on us, and support for old platform versions may end.

We may change what is distributed and on what terms. A future version of any of these plugins may be a paid product. Distributing this version free of charge is a decision about today.

4. No warranty

The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or freedom from defects.

Back up your projects before using it on work that matters.

5. Limits of our liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, corrupted projects, lost work, lost income or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the software.

Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and nothing here affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

6. Ownership

The software is ours. This agreement grants you a right to use it and transfers no ownership. Third party components are covered by their own licences, listed in the Licenses.txt file included with the software, and those licences govern those components.

7. Your personal data

Downloading the software uses a free account. The email address you sign in with is the only personal data the account needs; our privacy notice sets out exactly what is stored, why, and how to delete the account.

The plugins run entirely offline and transmit nothing. The software itself never asks you to sign in and processes no personal data.

We publish how many times each file is downloaded. Those counts are not linked to accounts.

Subscribing to our newsletter is entirely optional, is never a condition of downloading anything, and you can leave with one click.

8. Duration and ending

This agreement lasts as long as you use the software. If you breach it, your right to use the software ends and you must delete your copies.

9. Governing law

This agreement is governed by Turkish law, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live, and those rules apply regardless of this clause.

10. Language

This agreement is published in English and Turkish. The two versions are intended to say the same thing. For users in Türkiye the Turkish version applies; elsewhere the English version applies.
